St. Joseph Parish in Chicago's Back of the Yards was founded in 1887 as one of the first Polish parishes; the present Baroque Polish Cathedral-style church dates to 1914. In 2021 it was united with neighboring parishes into Holy Cross and SS. Mary, Joseph and Michael Parish.
