Acampamento Canção Nova Kids aproxima crianças da fé cristã

The Canção Nova Kids camp used games, dance, and praise to introduce children to the Christian faith. The weekend program focused on spiritual formation through evangelization activities designed to connect Gospel values with the daily lives of young participants.

Fernanda dos Santos Alves, who leads the children and youth department at Cantinho da Criança, compared the process of evangelization to watering a small plant to help it grow. During the camp, missionary Sarah Sabará noted that some people are given the grace to translate the Gospel into language children can understand.

One highlight of the event was a theatrical performance based on a script by Adelita. The play focused on the theme of being called a prophet, specifically centering on João Batista. Children participated in music, prayer, and preaching to learn about perseverance, hope, and love.
