Acción Católica Xeral organizes Cuatro40 encounter in Mondoñedo

Acción Católica Xeral will host the Cuatro40 encounter at the Mondoñedo Seminary from September 25 to 27. The event is open to participants from the Diocese of Astorga and all dioceses in Galicia.

The program includes personal testimonies, experiential activities, and scripture reading. It serves as part of a project for first announcement and parish renewal intended to help parishes become more evangelizing and encourage personal encounters with Christ to renew Christian communities.

Following this weekend, the process includes seven spaced meetings over the following months. This second stage acts as a pre-catechumenate to deepen the experience and provide community and formative continuity. The organizers intend for these meetings to help create stable discipleship groups within local parishes rather than serving as an isolated activity.
