Audience with participants in the Conference on School and University Pastoral Ministry

Pope Leo XIV met with participants of the International Conference on School and University Pastoral Ministry on October 22, 2026. The audience took place in the Paul VI Hall during the conference.

In his address, the Pope thanked the officials of the Dicastery for Culture and Education and the attendees for their work in academic institutions. He noted that pastoral ministry in schools and universities must address the needs of students, including those facing broken families, digital loneliness, and uncertainty about the future.
