Natalie Rammert implements new care models at Seniorenhilfe SMMP
Natalie Rammert, who has led quality management and care innovation at Seniorenhilfe SMMP since October 2024, is introducing several new approaches to elderly care. These changes prioritize prevention and rehabilitation by encouraging residents to perform daily tasks themselves rather than relying entirely on staff.
The organization is currently testing these methods in a twelve-person senior shared living group through an internal call for applications. Other technological updates include the use of Voize, a voice-controlled documentation system, in all six inpatient facilities, and the installation of LivyCare, an artificial intelligence-based room sensor, in one inpatient facility and one assisted living site.
Seniorenhilfe SMMP is also developing new housing models. These include smaller living groups for eight tenants designed to encourage mutual support and a collaborative project with an investor to create a farm for intergenerational living.
