Bishop Dominikus Saku celebrates 34 years of priesthood

Bishop Dominikus Saku celebrated 34 years of priesthood on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Stasi Santo Markus Efudini Chapel in the Paroki Santa Sesilia Kotafoun. During the thanksgiving Mass, the Bishop of Atambua encouraged priests and the faithful to maintain their vocational loyalty and increase their care for communal life.

The celebration included priests Baltasar Seran, Yanuarius Seran, Donatus Tefa, and Leonardus Nahas. In his homily and remarks, Bishop Saku recalled his 1992 ordination in Kefamenanu, noting that 19 people were ordained at that time. He also noted that the Church in Nusa Tenggara continues to produce a high number of vocations globally.
