BISHOP HENRY JUMA ODONYA WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS SOCIETY IN KITALE

Bishop Henry Juma Odonya welcomed new members into the Sacred Heart of Jesus Society during a Mass at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in the Diocese of Kitale. The event coincided with the commemoration of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque and brought together society members from various parishes across the diocese.

During his homily, Bishop Odonya told members to maintain their faith through life's challenges by trusting in Jesus Christ. He encouraged the group to communicate their needs and anxieties to Christ through prayer, describing Him as a friend who does not abandon people during difficult times.

The bishop also advised members not to fear people or allow mockery and threats to weaken their witness to Christ. He urged them to rely on the power of God instead. Reflecting on Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, Bishop Odonya noted her complete dedication to Christ through prayer, the Holy Eucharist, and adoration.
