Bishop John Iffert of the Diocese of Covington to host Q&A session with seminarians at Seminary Ball
Bishop John Iffert hosted a question and answer session with six diocesan seminarians during the 2026 Seminary Ball on Oct. 16. The event, held at Receptions in Erlanger, allowed guests to ask the seminarians questions during the program following dinner.
The annual ball serves as the kickoff for the Seminarian Education Collection and acts as a fundraiser for the Seminarian Education Fund, which supports diocesan seminarians studying for the priesthood. Jim Hess, director of Stewardship and Mission Services, reported that more than 740 people attended the event.
The ball raised more than $210,000 for the Seminarian Education Fund through guests and sponsors. Following the event, the diocese invited participants to contribute to the collection on Oct. 24 and 25.
