Bishop Walkowiak celebrates World Day of Migrants and Refugees

Bishop Walkowiak celebrated Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew on Sunday, Sept. 20, to observe the World Day of Migrants and Refugees. The event brought together members of the Diocese of Grand Rapids to recognize the cultural diversity within the local faith community.

Following the Mass, members of the Hispanic, Vietnamese, and African communities performed traditional songs and dances. The celebration concluded with a reception for those in attendance.
