History
Western Michigan in the United States is served by the Diocese of Grand Rapids (Latin: Dioecesis Grandcataractensis), a suffragan see of the Archdiocese of Detroit. The Cathedral of Saint Andrew in Grand Rapids stands as the diocese's mother church, and David J. Walkowiak is its bishop.
