Bp. Radosław Orchowicz celebrates Mass for 20th anniversary of Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Uczniom im. Jana Pawła II

Bishop Radosław Orchowicz led a Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Church on Friday, October 16, to begin celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the John Paul II Student Aid Association in Mieścisko. The association was established to help young people develop talents and overcome difficulties.

Bishop Orchowicz blessed a statue of St. Joseph, which came to Mieścisko from the Gniezno seminary, as well as a chapel and a plaque commemorating the association's jubilee. The statue replaces a historical St. Joseph figure in the town square that was destroyed in 1939.
