Brothers donate handmade wooden cross to Diocese of Foggia-Bovino

Brothers Marco and Luca Cuttano, artisans from Foggia, donated a handmade wooden cross to the Diocesan Missionary Center of the Diocese of Foggia-Bovino. The gift coincides with the local Church's celebrations for the 100th World Missionary Day.

The cross features deep grooves and intense colors representing the different continents to symbolize the universal nature of mission work. The design was inspired by the Missionary Cross used by the Missio Foundation. The brothers included an illustrative brochure to assist with prayer and contemplation during diocesan meetings and initiatives.

While the brothers had originally agreed on a fee for the commission, they chose to donate the work instead. They requested that the intended payment be redirected to the poor, and the funds were delivered to the San Luigi parish Caritas in Foggia to support people assisted by that community.
