Claudio Bottan becomes first former prisoner to receive journalist credentials

Claudio Bottan has been added to the list of freelance journalists for the Abruzzo regional order of journalists. He is the first former prisoner to receive these professional credentials.

Bottan was released two years ago after serving six and a half years in prison for financial crimes. He stated that while he is grateful for his director's persistence, he views this development as the beginning of a new professional path rather than a final achievement.
