Cardenal Fernando Chomali presents documentary in UN and UC

Cardinal Fernando Chomali presented his documentary, "Wednesday 15:30, Memories of an Absence," at the United Nations and UC to highlight the testimony of families of the disappeared in the Biobío region. The film, which the Archbishop of Santiago directed, documents the decades-long search for truth, justice, and dignity by these families.

The documentary was screened at the FAO regional headquarters before an audience of ambassadors, diplomats, and international organization representatives. Georgiana Braga-Orillard, the Resident Representative of the PNUD in Chile, attended the session and noted the ethical value of the film. The screening aimed to foster dialogue and visibility for the children and spouses who continue to seek answers more than 50 years later.
