Cardinal Dziwisz celebrates Mass for 45th anniversary of John Paul II Vatican Foundation

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz celebrated Mass at Santa Maria in Traspontina in Rome to mark the 45th anniversary of the John Paul II Vatican Foundation. During the liturgy, the longtime personal secretary to Pope John Paul II said the foundation's greatest achievement is not its buildings or institutions, but the people it helps to develop their talents and build their futures.

Dziwisz noted that the foundation preserves the memory of its founder while helping future generations acquire an education and supporting cultural dialogue. During the Mass, the cardinal also asked those in attendance to pray for the quick recovery of Pope Leo XIV.
