Cáritas Diocesana de Jaén to celebrate campaign «Nadie sin Hogar»

Cáritas Diocesana de Jaén will hold several events next week for its "Nadie sin Hogar" campaign. The campaign uses the theme that a home is more than a place to live, but a place to belong.

Sonia Quirós, the head of the Programa de Personas sin Hogar for Cáritas Diocesana de Jaén, said the campaign intends to raise awareness about the reality of people in situación de sinhogarismo regarding their lack of dignity, protection, and difficulty accessing rights and social spaces. Quirós stated the efforts aim to humanize society, break down prejudices and hate speech, and encourage collective responsibility and community inclusion.

The scheduled activities in Jaén begin on Wednesday, October 21, with a prayer service titled "Face to God" at 21:00 at the Catedral de Jaén. A public event is also scheduled for Thursday, October 22, at 12:00.
