Ուխտագնացություն՝ նվիրված Սուրբ Կույս Մարիամին

Children from Christian education groups in Ashotsk completed a pilgrimage to the Armenian Catholic churches of Metsavan and Tashir on October 26. Led by Father Hovsep Galstyan, the group visited the sites to conclude a month dedicated to the Rosary of the Holy Virgin.

In Metsavan, Father Galstyan celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Veri Monastery, which is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. The liturgy was attended by the children, members of the Legion of Mary, and the local Armenian Catholic community. During his sermon, Father Galstyan spoke about how the Metsavan community has maintained its Armenian Catholic identity and how the monastery has become a pilgrimage site through the efforts of local leaders and benefactors. He offered the children to the protection of the Holy Virgin, asking for graces of faith and love for the children and the local community.

The pilgrimage concluded in Tashir at the Church of the Holy Transfiguration of the Mother of God. There, Archbishop Nerses Galstyan welcomed the group and led the praying of the Loreto Litany. Following the prayers, the group visited the Tashir park.
