ПОДЯЧНА МЕСА В КАРАГАНДІ

Bishop Petro Pytlovanyi celebrated a thanksgiving Mass at the St. Joseph Small Basilica in Karaganda on October 11. This service marks the first Mass presided over by Bishop Pytlovanyi since his ordination and the start of his ministry as the ordinary of the Karaganda Diocese.

Mitrophor Protoiereus Vasyl Hovera, the Apostolic Administrator for the Byzantine Rite faithful in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, participated in the liturgy. The basilica where the Mass took place is noted for its historical connection to the 20th-century persecutions and the witnesses of faith in the region.
