Columbus Catholic Young Adult Conference to return to Westerville
The Columbus Catholic Young Adult Conference, titled Forward Together, returns to St. Paul the Apostle Church in Westerville on Saturday, Oct. 24. The event provides prayer, keynote talks, and fellowship for men and women between the ages of 19 and 35.
The conference begins at 9:15 a.m. with a keynote address from Father Joseph Rolwing, a parochial vicar at Columbus-Powell St. Peter St. Joan of Arc Parish. Andrew Kebe, director of ministry at Buckeye Catholic, will deliver a second keynote in the afternoon. Attendees can also participate in five breakout sessions throughout the day.
Maria Tarbell, president of the Columbus Catholic Young Adult Conference, said the event provides a peaceful parish environment for young adults to deepen their faith and find inspiration to become active in their own local parishes and communities. Last year, the conference attracted hundreds of participants from central Ohio and areas outside the Columbus diocese.
