COMIDI Diocesano promove formação sobre Programa Missionário Nacional e Centenário do Dia Mundial das Missões

The Diocesan Missionary Council (COMIDI) of the Diocese of Divinópolis held a training meeting for parish and deanery missionary coordinators at the diocesan curia. The session prepared leaders for the National Missionary Program and the centenary of World Mission Day.

Brother Diego Lopes, a member of the Regional Missionary Council East 2 (COMIRE Leste 2), served as the advisor. The training covered the National Missionary Program, which seeks to renew missionary zeal through four axes: formation, animation, coordination, and missionary cooperation. Participants also studied the 100th anniversary of World Mission Day.

The diocesan coordination stated that the meeting provided an opportunity to learn how to bring the joy of a missionary Church to local communities. The event concluded with a Mass and a missionary sending of the coordinators, who committed to sharing this training within their respective parishes and deaneries.
