Diocese of Savona-Noli cancels youth meeting due to weather alert

The Diocese of Savona-Noli canceled a youth meeting scheduled for Sunday, October 18, in Albisola Superiore due to an orange weather alert.

The event, titled “Coraggio, io ho vinto il mondo!”, was organized by the diocesan youth ministry service for young people aged 20 and older. It was intended to take place at the Parrocchia Nostra Signora Stella Maris in the Capo district, beginning with a 10:00 a.m. Mass followed by activities and a shared lunch.

Stefano Mafera, the diocesan youth ministry leader, stated that the meeting was the first of three planned sessions. The series focuses on the theme for the upcoming World Youth Day and uses external trainers to help participants reflect on daily difficulties.
