Dallas Jenkins releases The Chosen Season 6 trailer

Dallas Jenkins released the official trailer for the sixth season of The Chosen on October 15. The upcoming season focuses on the final 24 hours of Jesus' life, covering the events of Good Friday through his crucifixion.

The season will consist of six episodes. The first three episodes are scheduled to debut on Prime Video on November 15, with the remaining episodes released weekly until December 6. Following the television release, a standalone feature film covering this period will premiere in theaters on March 12, 2027.

Jenkins described the filming process as painful and noted that the season serves as an explosion of the tension built during the fifth season. He stated that the production intended to explore the reasons behind the crucifixion and the extraordinary events of those final hours. Jenkins emphasized that the narrative highlights Jesus' decision to freely choose a path of surrender, humility, and sacrifice.

The trailer depicts scenes leading up to the scourging and crucifixion, showing the arrest and trial of Jesus from various perspectives, including the Pharisees, the Romans, and his followers.
