Diocese of Ávila to open "Desde Ávila para el mundo" photo exhibit

The Diocese of Ávila will open a photographic and interactive exhibition titled "Desde Ávila para el mundo, 100 años de misión" on Thursday, October 1. Held at the Palacio de Los Verdugo, the exhibit honors missionaries from the diocese who have traveled from the capital and province to spread the Gospel over the last century.

The display uses panels, photographs, and a dedicated website to recognize the work of missionaries and provide a living testimony of ongoing mission work. Mercedes Sánchez, the diocese's mission delegate, stated that the project aims to introduce the reality of missionary life to children and young people. She noted that the exhibition cannot include every name or person from the past hundred years, as each individual represents a unique story of vocation and generosity.
