Diocese of Andria to host Autumn Pianistic concert series

The Diocese of Andria will host the Autumn Pianistico, a series of three musical events featuring classical music, visual arts, and culture. Organized by the Ufficio Liturgico Diocesano under the artistic direction of Benedetta Lomuscio, the series takes place at the Chiesa Mater Gratiae in Andria.

The concerts feature works by composers such as Tchaikovsky, Puccini, Verdi, and Elgar. Each performance focuses on a social theme intended to encourage reflection and civic engagement. Artistic director Benedetta Lomuscio stated that music carries social, moral, and ethical responsibilities and can use beauty to provoke conscience and reflection.

The first event, a piano concert titled "VIAGGIO NEL VENTO – Sussurri e tempeste tra Iberia e Sudamerica," features Gaetano Pistillo. It is scheduled for Saturday, October 24. Admission is free, with doors opening at 19:30 and the performance starting at 20:00.
