Diocese of Araçatuba gathers 1,200 young people for DNJ 2026

About 1,200 young people from 34 parishes, groups, and movements gathered at the São João Batista Parish in Mirandópolis for the National Youth Day (DNJ) on October 18. The event brought together participants from across the Diocese of Araçatuba.

Bishop Sérgio Krzywy presided over the Holy Mass, which was concelebrated by Orlando Maffei, Luiz Henrique Carreira, and Father João. During his homily, Bishop Krzywy encouraged the youth to maintain their faith and joy.

Participants watched a play organized by Fabrício Samuel, which depicted saints interceding for a young person facing an existential crisis. The day included workshops held in tents throughout the parish.
