Diocese of Bragança Paulista concludes annual clergy retreat

The Diocese of Bragança Paulista concluded its annual clergy retreat on Thursday, September 24, 2026. The retreat, which began the previous Monday, brought together diocesan priests for several days of prayer, silence, and spiritual renewal.

Priests participated in daily Eucharistic celebrations, personal prayer, and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The retreat focused on the new Diretrizes Gerais da Ação Evangelizadora da Igreja no Brasil and the implementation of the 5º Plano Diocesano de Pastoral.

Father Carlos Javier Werner Benjuema led the retreat. During the closing, Bishop Sérgio Aparecido Colombo shared a message regarding the experience, and Father João Maria, rector of the Seminário Maior Imaculada Conceição, spoke on behalf of the diocesan priests.
