Diocese of Cruz das Almas holds XX Caminhada Ecológica de Frei Galvão
Pilgrims and devotees of Saint Frei Galvão participated in the 20th Ecological Walk of Frei Galvão in Cachoeira on Sunday, October 18.
The 13-kilometer walk followed a traditional route believed to be the path Frei Galvão took when he arrived at the port of Cachoeira to travel toward the Jesuit seminary of Belém, where he lived for four years. Participants walked through the local landscape to engage in prayer and communal sharing.
