Catholic Intelligence1 min read

The Diocese of Phoenix will hold its annual Red, White and Blue Mass for Veterans at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, at All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Mesa. Organized with the Knights of Columbus, the event invites veterans, their families, and the community to pray for those who served in defense of the United States.

Auxiliary Bishop Peter Dai Bui will celebrate the Mass. Father Ken Nielson, a priest in the diocese and former military chaplain, will deliver the homily. Deacon John Scott serves as the longtime coordinator for the Mass.

The liturgy aims to provide spiritual support to veterans, including those facing mental, spiritual, or emotional costs from their service. All Saints Roman Catholic Church is located at 1534 N. Recker Road.
