Diocese of Phoenix Office of Mental Health Ministry offers wellness practice

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

The Diocese of Phoenix Office of Mental Health Ministry has shared a wellness practice to help people reflect on the past year. The practice encourages individuals to review their experiences month by month to identify impactful moments, including both happy times and personal burdens.

The ministry suggests that people identify specific weights they are carrying, such as anxiety, fatigue, or isolation, and intentionally surrender those feelings to Jesus. The office also notes that seeking help from mental health professionals is a positive step for overall health and offers assistance to those who need help connecting with someone to talk.
