Diocese of San Carlos de Ancud publishes August edition of Diocesan Bulletin

The Diocese of San Carlos de Ancud has released its August edition of the diocesan bulletin to share news from local pastoral communities.

In the publication, Bishop Juan María Agurto Muñoz encourages readers to reflect on the bicentennial of Chiloé joining the Republic of Chile, urging people to be grateful for their history and to work toward a country where everyone feels welcome. The bulletin reports on several August events, including a solidarity day held by the Social Pastoral and the Franciscan Youth Pastoral in Castro, visits by the traveling Virgin of Carmen to various communities, and celebrations for children, altar servers, and youth. It also covers devotion to Jesus Nazareno throughout the archipelago, specifically in Caguach.
