Docentes de la Fundación Victoria se forman para la detección y el abordaje de problemas de bienestar emocional en el aula

Teachers at Victoria Foundation schools are receiving training to detect and manage emotional wellbeing issues in the classroom through Proyecto Farola. The program will train more than 40 teachers, affecting approximately 700 secondary school students at the La Presentación, Espíritu Santo, and Divina Pastora educational centers.

Diego Arenas, the medical director of the San Juan de Dios healthcare center in Málaga, stated that the project was created to address a concerning increase in emotional difficulties among minors and young people. The program provides a social, health, and educational response through early prevention, specialized training, and professional support within school and family environments.

The project is coordinated by the medical direction of the San Juan de Dios healthcare center in Málaga. During the school year, the Hospital Order of San Juan de Dios will also establish outpatient clinics near Avenida Moliere, using a space provided by the Junta de Andalucía and with support from the Málaga City Council.

The launch event included Bishop José Antonio Satué of Málaga, Victoria Foundation president Miguel Ángel Criado, and general director Mª Jesús Floriano. Also in attendance were Manuel Armenteros, Brother Superior of the Order of San Juan de Dios in Málaga, and managing director José Luis Fuentes.
