Dom Geraldo dos Reis Maia publishes letter

Bishop Geraldo dos Reis Maia of Araçuaí published a letter titled Cries from the Valley on September 7.

In the letter, Bishop Maia describes the struggles of the people in the Jequitinhonha Valley. He states that local communities are being destroyed by the pursuit of easy profits and that financial corporations are invading their territories.
