Dr. William Keimig presents workshop on baptism and matrimony

Dr. William Keimig led a workshop for OCIA on Sept. 19 at Thomas More University in Crestview Hills. Keimig, the director of the Catechetical Institute at Franciscan University, presented to OCIA coordinators from the Diocese of Covington.

The session focused on the Code of Canon Law as it relates to the sacraments of Baptism and marriage. Keimig delivered 4 presentations, including one on the canonical baptismal process and three regarding marriage, specifically the sacramental nature of matrimony and the legal processes for its nullification.

Isaak Isaak, the director of the Office of Catechesis and Evangelization for the Diocese, welcomed the attendees to the event held in the Ziegler Auditorium.
