Diocese of Nice to hold Haltes spirituelles 2026-2027

The Diocese of Nice will host a series of spiritual retreats titled Haltes spirituelles 2026-2027, centered on the theme of conversion to God. Drawing from the writings of Christian de Chergé, a reader of Saint Augustine's Confessions, the program includes personal meditation, witness testimonies, and spiritual discussions.

The four scheduled meetings will run from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at two locations. Participants can attend on October 13, November 10, December 8, 2026, and January 26, 2027, at the Notre-Dame de Laghet sanctuary. Meetings will also be held on October 15, November 12, December 10, 2026, and January 28, 2027, at the Carmel de Carros. Both locations will follow the same program.

The diocese also plans a single day of recollection regarding the conversions of Jesus, led by Véronique Stouls of Exsultet. This event is scheduled for April 9 or April 10, 2027, at Notre-Dame de la Paix in Castagniers. Registration for the four main meetings costs 25 euros.
