Holy Martyrs Parish to Display 200 Relics for All Saints, All Souls Days
Holy Martyrs Parish in Oreland will display more than 200 relics during the celebrations for All Saints and All Souls days. The collection includes items ranging from the true cross of Christ and relics of the apostles Andrew and Luke to those of Saint Pope John Paul II and Saint Carlo Acutis.
Deacon Thomas Croke, the parish life director, said the late pastor Father Jason Kulczynski spent 50 years collecting and researching the items. Father Kulczynski created the reliquaries and displays for the collection, which now occupies a room approximately the size of a classroom.
The relics will be available for prayer on November 1 from the conclusion of the 9 a.m. Mass until noon. On November 2, the display will be open from the conclusion of the 8:30 a.m. Mass until noon, and again from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
