Il vescovo Roberto indice una giornata di preghiera per la salute del Papa

Bishop Roberto has called for a day of prayer across the dioceses of Oristano and Ales-Terralba to support Pope Leo XIV. The request follows the Pope's announcement on October 11 that he must undergo surgery for a localized lung nodule.

The bishop invited all parish communities and religious orders within his dioceses to join in prayer for the Pope's health. On Friday, October 16, Bishop Roberto scheduled a visit to the Santuario diocesano della B.V. del Rimedio in Oristano for the prayer of the Holy Rosary at 17.30 and the celebration of the S. Messa at 18.

This local response follows a message from Cardinal Matteo M. Zuppi, president of the CEI, who expressed the solidarity of the Italian Church with the Pope during this delicate time.
