Le Pape à l'hôpital Gemelli pour une opération programmée

Pope Leo XIV arrived at the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital on Tuesday afternoon for a scheduled surgery. According to a Holy See Press Office statement released on Telegram, the Pope arrived at the hospital shortly after 1:00 p.m.

A thoracic surgery team led by Professor Stefano Margaritora will perform the operation to remove a localized lung nodule. The Holy See Press Office indicated that more information would be released later in the evening.
