Puy du Fou to debut new show about Louis XIV in May 2027

The Puy du Fou theme park will debut a new production titled Le rêve de Louis XIV in late May 2027. The show focuses on Louis XIV and will take place in a new building containing a small theater constructed specifically for this performance.

Nicolas de Villiers, the president of Puy du Fou, screenwriter, and director of the show, said the project is the most ambitious production the park has created. He stated that the park waited several years to develop the necessary artistic and technical expertise required to portray the monarch.

Teams have worked on the staging of the production for 4 years. The show intends to use advanced technology to depict the Grand Siècle.
