Pope Leo XIV renews invitation to pray Rosary

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV renewed his invitation to pray the Rosary during a general audience, calling the prayer a comfort from Mary during life's difficulties. Addressing Italian pilgrims at the end of the audience, the pope described the Marian prayer as a cherished part of Church tradition.

The appeal echoes messages the pope shared during the Angelus on Sunday, 4 October, and during a prayer in Lourdes. He requested that people pray the Rosary with a specific intention for the end of wars and the establishment of peace between conflicting peoples. Vatican News reported that the pope highlighted the importance of praying for world peace during the month of October.
