Jesmond Mizzi celebrates 59th birthday

Jesmond Mizzi celebrates his 59th birthday today, October 25. He has appeared in television series such as Ulied il-Lejl, Santa Monika, Division 7, Manwela, Katrina, Rifless, and Żvintura. His film credits include 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Paul, Apostle of Christ, Id-Destin, and Blood on the Crown. He has also worked in drama teaching, writing, and theatrical direction.

Mizzi has participated in Holy Week processions in Raħal Ġdid since 1983. He has taken part in these processions for over 40 years, except during the pandemic and a year when he was unwell. He has participated as a soldier, a role his father purchased for him in 1983. In an interview on RTK103, Mizzi stated he has no ambition to become a centurion and prefers to remain a soldier.
