San Bartolomé Seminary restores historic stained glass in its chapel
The San Bartolomé Conciliar Seminary has restored four historic stained glass windows in its chapel. Bishop Ramón Valdivia, the apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Cádiz y Ceuta, blessed the windows.
The windows were created in 1888 by the firm Franz Mayer & Co. The restoration addressed damage from time and environmental exposure, including fractures and damage to the lead structure. The project was completed through the cooperation of the seminary, institutions, and benefactors.
The glass features depictions of Saint Thomas Aquinas, San Vicente Mártir, Nuestra Señora del Rosario, San José, San Pedro, San Bartolomé, San Servando, and San Germán.
