Triveneto vicars and pastoral delegates discuss implementing synodality

Vicars and pastoral delegates from the Triveneto dioceses met in Bressanone on September 29 and 30, 2026, to discuss how to practice synodality in local leadership.

The group identified practical methods for this style of leadership, such as listening to local territories, fostering cooperation between priests and laity, and recognizing various spiritual gifts. Participants noted the importance of arriving at meetings without being too prepared and the value of stepping back to allow processes to function effectively without direct individual oversight.
