Over 200 Gather for Holy Family Cathedral Parish Synod Assembly

More than 200 parishioners attended a Parish Synod Assembly at Holy Family Cathedral on Sunday, 18 October 2026. Following the 9 a.m. Mass, the community gathered to discuss how to become missionary disciples and how to work together to strengthen the life and mission of the parish.

The assembly used the Conversation in the Spirit method from the Diocese of St. John’s-Basseterre’s Parish Synod Assembly Toolkit. Participants worked in small groups through three stages: sharing personal responses to the central question without interruption, listening to others to identify resonant experiences, and engaging in group discernment to find common ground.
