Pastoral Familiar é implantada na Área Pastoral de Mato Grosso

The Diocese of Cajazeiras implemented the Family Ministry in the São José Parish within the Mato Grosso Pastoral Area on September 27, 2026. The diocesan commission for the ministry organized the launch to begin evangelization and support for local families.

Twelve couples attended the meeting to join the new ministry. Father Raimundo Júnior, the parish administrator, welcomed the group, while Father Joanees, a diocesan advisor for the ministry, assisted with the process. The commission stated that the participation of these couples is essential for developing pastoral actions and strengthening the Church's presence among different family realities.
