Diocese of Belfort–Montbéliard team leads March for Creation 2026

The Laudato Si team of the Diocese of Belfort-Montbéliard led the 2026 March for Creation on September 13 and 20. Participants gathered in Chauveroche to study the history of the planet and the evolution of ecosystems.

The program included meditations on biblical texts and the encyclical Laudato Si to highlight the connection between humans and the natural world. Organizers used the event to address climate change and the sixth extinction, encouraging attendees to take responsibility for protecting the environment. The marches concluded with group prayer at the Chauveroche chapel.
