Priests of the Diocese of Camden gathered for an annual convention in Avalon

Catholic Intelligence1 min read

Priests from the Diocese of Camden met from October 19 to 21 for their annual convention in Avalon. The gathering provided time for prayer, guest speakers, and fellowship among the clergy and Bishop José Williams.

On October 20, Bishop Williams and dozens of priests attended Mass at St. Paul Church in Stone Harbor, a worship site of St. Brendan Parish. During the liturgy, the diocese recognized priests celebrating significant years of service. Father Glenn Hartman, celebrating 50 years of priesthood, delivered the homily. He spoke about the necessity of prayer in parish ministry and encouraged priests and parishes to support young families through personal outreach.
