Arcivescovo Mario Delpini to read Cantico delle Creature in Milano

Archbishop Mario Delpini will read the original version of the Canticle of the Creatures at the BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi park in Milan on Sunday, October 4. His reading will open a day of cultural events dedicated to the message of Saint Francis, marking 800 years since his death.

The event, directed by Francesca Colombo, features seven artistic reinterpretations of the Canticle. The program includes two new poetic works by Mariangela Gualtieri and Franco Arminio, as well as a theatrical production titled Il Cantico per le città, directed by Andrea Chiodi. This production includes interpretations from 5 contemporary playwrights and various Italian actors. The project involves more than 60 artists and was promoted by the Fondazione Riccardo Catella.
