Santuário Catedral to celebrate 96th Santa Teresinha festival

Santuário Catedral in Joaçaba is holding its 96th festival for Santa Teresinha from September 18 to 27. The event includes religious services and community gatherings to honor the patron saint of the cathedral and the Diocese of Joaçaba.

The festivities began on September 18 with the Novena das Rosas and food sales at the Pavilhão Frei Bruno. Cathedral rector Father Joveci Filho encouraged the faithful to bring roses to the novena.

The religious schedule features several visiting clergy. Bishop Milton Zonta, Coadjutor Bishop of Criciúma, celebrated on September 18, followed by Father Joveci Filho on September 19. Other scheduled celebrants include Father Gilberto Boçon on September 20, Bishop Cleocir Bonetti of Caçador on September 21, and Bishop Adalberto Donadelli of Rio do Sul on September 22.
