Diocese of Cajazeiras' Seminário Diocesano Nossa Senhora da Assunção promotes family encounter

The Nossa Senhora da Assunção Diocesan Seminary in the Diocese of Cajazeiras held a meeting for the families of its seminarians on Sunday, September 27. The event brought together relatives of the students to strengthen ties between families and the seminary to support the vocational journey of future priests.

Bishop Francisco de Assis Gabriel dos Santos, C.Ss.R., welcomed the families and led a period of reflection. Sister Ivone Pereira of the School Sisters of Our Lady and psychologist Isabel Peixoto provided guidance on how family support and emotional accompaniment affect the vocational process. The program included social activities, games, and tributes to the families.

The gathering concluded with a Mass at the seminary chapel, presided over by rector Father Cláudio Praxedes. The celebration served as an expression of gratitude for the seminarians' progress and emphasized the role of the family in supporting the discernment and formation of priests.
