THE BISHOP’S LUNCHEON

Bishop Henry Juma Odonya met with the Trans-Nzoia pastoral community and friends of the Church for a luncheon at St. Joseph’s Parish on September 25, 2026. The gathering served as a fundraiser to advance the construction of the St. Joseph’s Pastoral Centre.

Bishop Odonya thanked the priests, religious men and women, and the faithful for their ongoing support of the project. He stated that completing the center will support various pastoral activities and create a source of revenue to sustain Church services in the long term. He described the center as a long-term investment and a legacy for future generations of the Diocese of Kitale.

A similar luncheon and fundraiser is scheduled for next month at Kapenguria Parish in the West Pokot Pastoral Area.
